Weird Gloop Ltd. (the “Company”) operate a number of websites and services (collectively known as the “Sites”). By accessing or using the Sites, you indicate that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use (the “Agreement”). We may change, modify, delete, or add parts of this Agreement at any time without notification.

This Agreement applies to anyone that uses our Sites, regardless of if you are a registered or unregistered user. In order to use our Sites, you must accept this Agreement, by either registering for a new account on our Sites or continuing to use the Sites. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are of a legal age, or have parental/legal guardian consent, to enter a binding contract with the Company, and comply with the terms in this Agreement.

Usage

In order to use some parts of our Sites, you may be required to register an account. You may not register an account on any of our Sites if you are prohibited to do so by law, or are under the age of 13. By registering for an account on any of our Sites, you agree to the terms of this Agreement and confirm that you are over the age of 13.

You must maintain the security of your account credentials for any of our Sites, including any usernames and passwords, and should never disclose them to a third party. You are fully responsible for any of the accounts you own on our Sites, and the actions that your accounts may take. We may terminate your account on, or block your ability to view, any of our Sites at any time - with or without notice, at any time.

By using our Sites in any capacity, you also agree to the terms of our privacy policy, which outlines how we collect and use information about you. Our services are used worldwide, and personal information may be collected and stored in any country that we maintain facilities. By agreeing to the terms of this Agreement, you consent to the transfer of any such information outside of your country.

The content on our Sites is for informational purposes only, and should not be taken as professional advice, thus we are not liable for any damages or loss that may result from the information on our Sites.

Conduct

Our Sites are used by many people around the world, and many consist of collaborative efforts to curate information. While your participation on any of our Sites is welcome, we encourage you to be civil and act in good faith. Any contributions made to our Sites should be done to improve our Sites, rather than hinder or damage it. We do not endorse any illegal activities, and you should not engage in these activities on any of our Sites.

We also do not allow certain activities on any of our Sites, including but not limited to:

  • Fradulent activity
    • Engaging in any form of fraud
    • Posting any information that is an attempt to defame, or constitutes libel
    • Attempting to impersonate other users, registering an account as another user in an attempt to deceive
  • Harassing other users
    • Engaging in any form of harassment, including stalking, spamming, and vandalism
    • Using abusive language towards another user, or attempting to intimidate them
    • Attempting to solicit personal information from users that are under the age of 18
  • Infringement
    • Attempting to use, publish, or upload content that you do not own the rights for, or are not authorised to use
    • Attempting to use our content in a way that does not adhere to our licenses
    • Infringing on any trademarks, patents, or proprietary rights
  • Misusing our services
    • Using our Sites for any illegal activity under applicable law
    • Attempting to post, publish, or upload content that is obscene, pornographic, offensive, or contains homophobia, discrimination against ethnic or religious groups, or encourages criminal activity
    • Attempting to spread viruses or malware through the use of our Sites, including to other users and our own infrastructure
    • Attempting to use our Sites in an automated fashion without prior consent from the Company, or other users on our platform where applicable
    • Attempting to disrupt our services by causing stress on our infrastructure or traffic
    • Testing the vulnerability of our services, unless all of the following conditions are met:
      • you do not do so with malicious intent
      • you report the vulnerabilities to the Company
      • you do not abuse our infrastructure
      • you do not do so for personal gain, apart from credit for your work
    • Attempting to hinder the use of service by modifying our sites, including but not limited to:
      • hiding content, login links, legal compliance, headers, and footers
      • modifying our user interface in a way that limits its functionality

Users that perform actions on our Sites, such as adding content, on behalf of another party must disclose their affiliation with the company, client, or organisation in question. This disclosure must be made in one of the following ways:

  • a statement on your user profile (or “user page”) on the applicable Sites
  • a statement attributed to any contributions you make, such as on public summaries of your contributions

Contributions

You are solely responsible for any contributions you make to any of our Sites, including but not limited to images, text, comments, messages, profile information, and any other content that you may publish or transmit on or using our services. Any content that is not compatible with our licenses or content that you do not have permission to use should not be submitted or published on our Sites. You understand that by submitting content, other users may edit, remove, or improve the content you submitted under the terms of our licenses.

Our Sites do not function as an archive, and therefore your content may be removed and deleted from our servers at any time. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you keep copies of any content that you publish or upload to any of our Sites.

The Company will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. We will terminate the accounts of users of our Sites that are persistent offenders of copyright law, or in extreme cases, terminate their access to our Sites. If you are an owner of, or are authorised to act on behalf of infringing content on our service, you may request that the content be removed by contacting us through support@weirdgloop.org.
